We get asked a lot of questions about our services so we’ve compiled a question and answer supplement to help visitors who come to our Brighton store.
Do you deliver for free?
We deliver all items for free to a BN or RH postcode if you spend over £150 with us. We are also able to send across the UK for a nominal fee.
Is all stock kept at your Brighton shop?
No. Even though we have a very large product range of white goods and kitchen appliances available at our Brighton store, it’s just the tip of the iceberg. All of our products are kept at our 37,000 feet warehouse in Storrington. This allows us to deliver to the customer quicker.
I recently bought a vacuum cleaner from Carters but it broke after 10 months. Will you replace it?
Yes. It’s still under the manufacturer’s 12 month warranty so we’ll replace vacuum cleaners free of charge. We can also provide optional warranties of 3 to 5 years through RETRA, a leading insurance company, to fully cover any damage or loss.
Does your delivery team install and take away the old appliances?
Yes. We have a dedicated team of professionals that can install everything from kitchen hobs to microwaves anywhere in the Brighton area. We also collect and recycle your old white goods such as washing machines, fridge freezers, disconnected cookers, etc. safely and in keeping with our stringent environmental policy. The same goes for all kitchen appliances and white goods packaging.
I’ve seen a particular brand of range cookers down the road cheaper than you’ve advertised it for. Can you match it?
With our ‘keen prices’ promise, we will match the price of all range cookers along or any other product offered elsewhere in Brighton and East Sussex.
Do the staff at the Brighton shop have a good knowledge of electric fires? I would like one but need some advice on the best one for me.
Our staff are knowledgeable about all our products and will only be too happy to help you choose anyone of our electric fires to suit your budget and taste.
I’ve heard that you offer an after sales service. What does this entail?
Carters reputation is based on good after sales with its Brighton customers, long after the initial purchase has taken place.
